The DELTA 28-165 Bench Band Saw Blade is a replacement blade for the DELTA 28-180 and 28-185 Bench Band Saws, as well as other saws that require a 56-1/8-inch blade. You'll make fast and accurate cuts thanks to high-carbon-steel construction that stays sharp, and teeth that were precision machined. The blade is 1/4-inch wide with 6 teeth per inch, cuts down to a 3/4-inch-inch radius, and has been tension-tested for strength.

Comment: There was a little rust on the blades (I bought 4) even though they were in "blister packs". I've only made a few cuts with the first blade but the bald is very sharp and cut very well.

Comment: These saw blades are hard to find these days in the store so ordering from Amazon was a great option. The blade is very sturdy, durable. The last one I had lasted for years (with heavy use). Delta seems to be slowly disappearing, so I think I will order a few more of these blades. Really love my Delta Bandsaw. If you have one, better stock up on the blades, too. No better price then on Amazon!

Comment: Someone wrote that we should stock up on these blades because the machine itself is now defunct. I find the blades dulling so quickly, that I can barely order enough of them. As long as there's a raging demand for these, they're not going to stop making them anytime soon. And if they do stop making them, I'll just use that as an excuse to by a beefier machine. My current unit has earned its keep in spades.

Comment: I purchased these bandsaw blades as a backup to the present blade on the saw. The blade currently on the bandsaw is also new and is working just fine.
I was having a difficult time locating blades for this bandsaw until I found them on Amazon.com. Previously, I had purchased blades directly from Delta, but the same blades were available on Amazon at a good price so I bought a few. I don't know how long the 56 1/8" blades will remain available, since this saw has been discontinued already for a few years.
The saw is outdated and has been replaced with a new model that takes a different sized blade.
