I do quite a bit of metal work and it makes short work of cutting down longer sticks without the noise and mess of my dry cut chop saw. Plus, it's easy enough to move to whatever you want to cut. I have been looking at the modular portaband setup from Swag Off Road to make it even more useful by turning it into a mini vertical bandsaw.
