At 6 TPI this makes a pretty smooth cut. As with most bandsaw blades, it's a good idea to stone the sides before using the blade. That evens-out the set and makes for much smoother cuts. I would choose a coarser tooth-pattern for re-sawing, (3 TPI skip-tooth) though if you are looking at short blades like this, you probably are not planning to do much re-sawing anyway. The great thing about Morse: they already make blades in different odd lengths that are nearly impossible to find. They will also make any custom length you want, quickly and economically. If you have a small imported bandsaw from Sears or Home Depot, knowing that will save you countless hours of searching. So that's one tip that can help you, even if you don't get this particular blade. Overall, I have had good experiences with Morse blades.
